I had no experience on a horse before this, but thanks to Zach's instructions, Max's (my horse) patience and understanding, and my comfort in team Crown Mountain Outfitters... I was a comfortable  'Cowboy' in the mountains w/in 5 minutes on the horse.
I learned. I experienced. I loved it all. I never stopped smiling.

Dies ist ein ganz authentischer Familienbetrieb. Zach hat uns ganz viel von der Gegend gezeigt und erklärt. Gina hat uns danach noch den Hof gezeigt. Alles war sehr unkompliziert und liebevoll. The horses are sturdy and sure-footed, and the guides are knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Riding through sagebrush and scrub oaks with spectacular mountain views felt like a true western adventure. Highly recommend for anyone wanting an authentic Colorado horseback experience! We were so fortunate to have meet the Ranch team! Gina and her husband Zach are authentic, kind and informative! We had Katie for our tour lead! What a wonderful young woman with a lot of talent and expertise! She is as sweet as pie and experienced!  She made the whole adventure feel safe! Lots of beautiful views and wildlife!  Their ranch pup slim even comes along for the ride! She’s a good girl and very full of life!  THIS IS A MUST DO WHEN YOU COME TO THE AREA!!! ♥️ 🐴  The trail is a ton of fun to navigate. We were able to cater the ride to our needs. The guides were great and informative on the nature and surrounding area. They gave us fun facts along the way. The horses were super well behaved and were very easy to ride. You really get to experience the backcountry and some awesome terrain. I highly recommend and will be coming back in the future!!!
